Warrajarra – Roper in the Wet

‘I really call this painting warrajarra, when I was a little boy, I remember going up the river with my father on our boat to Roperbar during the flood season and I use to sit at the front of the boat to direct my father to turn left or right because of the big logs that were floating along the river and down the river as well. That happen in the seventies. During the wet the water would be everywhere, every wet season. I miss going on those trips with my father’ – Alan Joshua
