Luke lives in Ngukurr community with his wife Debbie and his five young children. Luke grow up watching his father work who is a sculpture and painter on Goulburn Island and his uncles on Elcho how are also carvers and painters. Luke started painting his own work when he was 17, and more recently has been doing sculptures. Luke’s is an emerging artist whose work has been exhibited and well received in Darwin and Katherine and will be part of an Ngukurr exhibition at Japingka gallery in Perth in mid 2016.
